We provide a safe, sociable and stimulating environment for people
over 50 years of age, where they can meet their friends, enjoy good
food and take advantage of the wide range of services and activities
on offer.

About
The Milford and Villages Day Centre is a registered charity and a company
limited by guarantee. It is located in Milford but serves a community
of nine villages and their surrounding areas. Although we receive some
grants from Waverley Borough Council and from Social Services, we are
an independent organisation. We are run by a Board of Trustees, a small
permanent staff and a large number of local volunteers.

The Centre is open 5 days a week from 9.30 am to 3.30
pm. We offer food, services, activities, entertainment and external visits.
Members are generally from these villages:
Brook, Chiddingfold, Hambledon, Hascombe, Milford, Thursley, Witley, and
Wormley or nearby areas.

Entertainment:
A varied programme includes musical concerts, Talks, Demonstrations,
Discussions, Bingo, Quizzes and Karaoke.
Opposite are Chiddingfold Glee Club - old time music hall.

Food:
The coffee bar is open all day serving tea, coffee and soft drinks
with cakes and biscuits made by our chef, Anthony. The midday meal, prepared
in our kitchen mostly from fresh produce, provides a choice of items for
two courses, all at a very reasonable cost

Activities:
These include Painting, working with Stained Glass, producing Greetings
cards, Needlework and Computer use.

Services
Members have available Hairdressing, Chiropody, Reflexology, assisted
Bathing, extend Exercise, Beauty Therapy and a small Shop for essential
everyday items. We operate a minibus service to help bring members to
the Centre. Other services can be arranged

Outings:
A number of one day visits and five day holidays, generally to sea-side
locations are arranged each year, as well as day visits to theatres, garden
centres, shopping centres and local places of interes
