St James Church.
We need a hand!
In the last 3 years or so, a goodly number of people who have for a long time made an essential contribution to what goes on at St James' have reached an age when they have judged it wise to cut down on their commitments. Many of then have been doing a great deal.
We all lead busy lives, but all that we do here will be affected if we cannot encourage some more people who are part of St James' and younger dm our loyal and most senior band, to consider coming forward.
To assist the elderly and disabled to attend church there is a list of drivers who help, more names are urgently required. If you could occasionally give assistance., please let Peter (705971) know.

CAN YOU HELP ?
We need some more car drivers who are willing to help us in our Day Care Unit here at the Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice.
Day Care operates on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays and we need you to drive your own car to bring in a patient for 10 a.m. or take a patient home at 3 p.m. on one of the above days.We offer training, expenses and a very happy working environment.
We also need escorts to travel on our minibus with patients at the same times as above. Please telephone Gill Gibson Voluntary Services Manager for further details of either of these
