GODALMING CHORAL SOCIETY'S CHRISTMAS CONCERT
Saturday, 10th December in Charterhouse Great Hall at 7.30 p.m.
Benjamin Britten's St. Nicolas is at the heart of the programme and the choir and orchestra will be joined by St Catherine's middle school choir, members of Godalming College and students at Dunhurst (Bedales Junior School).
The concert includes Respighi's Laud to the Nativity which is scored for chorus, three soloists, with an accompaniment of six wind instruments and piano duet and takes the form of a dramatic carol.
The Cantata Orchestra - Conductor Nicholas Steinitz - will perform
Corelli's Christmas Concerto
