MOVING
DAY
FOR
PETER
PAN
PRE-SCHOOL
This month our pre-school will be moving into the new pavilion.
We have already been busy clearing out the old toys, organising
shelving and sorting equipment ready for the move and we can't
wait. It's true, the old pavilion has served us well, but
our children are eagerly waiting to see it demolished, (should
be entertaining to watch!). This will then make way for some
much needed additional car parking spaces. The building work
started only seven months ago, so it's congratulations to
everyone for such a grand result. We can't manage or hope
to thank everyone who has donated money, electrical equipment,
spare time, window cleaning, furniture, carpet, paint etc.
but at Peter Pan we would like to say a huge thank you to
Brian, Gordon, Pat and members of the Trust Committee.
As well as a change in environment for us we have also appointed
a new deputy manager, Caroline, who will be joining us in
February. We also say hello to several children who have joined
us this year, Emma, Charlie, Olivia, Erin, Joshua, Amber and
Harvey. We hope they will enjoy their time with us. The theme
this term is animals and our children have been making lions
and snakes, learning about farm animals and investigating
mini beasts and bugs. This is a favourite topic with the children,
especially the spiders, ants and wriggly things.
We will be planning some open days over the next couple of
months, but if you would like to come along and see our pre-school
in action before then, please call me to arrange a date. We're
looking forward to hearing from you.
