SPRING
TERM
AT
RAINBOWS
NURSERY
SCHOOL
The frosty mornings of January and early February outside
were matched inside at Rainbows with our theme of winter.
The children made different pictures of snowmen, with cotton
wool, doilies or shape stamping with paint. We also had great
fun experimenting with ice to make up for the absence of snow
outside.
We celebrated Chinese New Year by making blossom trees and
decorations. We enjoyed rolling duck pancakes and many
a valiant effort was made tasting noodles with the chopsticks.
All our new children who started in January have settled in
very well. Welcome to Harvey, Ben, William, Jonathon, Amy
and Alexander.
The children have created a wonderful picture based on the
nursery rhyme "There was an old lady who swallowed a fly",
have you seen it on the Village Hall Wall? We have also had
great fun singing and acting it out during our music and movement
mornings.
If you would like to know more about Rainbows Nursery please
call to arrange a date and we will welcome you to spend some
time with us one morning. Call Jane Kinard on 01252 703414
(term time) or 01483 424503.
