DAPHNE
CONSIDINE
Surrey-based charity TALK, which assists stroke recoverers
with speech problems, benefited by more than £600 from donations
made by friends and relatives of the late Daphne Considine.
Daphne had attended the Tuesday morning workshop of TALK in
Guildford for some time, where, despite her disability, she
played an enthusiastic part in proceedings. "Daphne was
a memorable character who always enlivened our proceedings,"
said Peter Walker, group leader of the Tuesday morning workshop
and Chairman of the charity. "She will be much
missed and lovingly remembered.
We are immensely grateful to all those who contributed so
generously to our funds."
