1^st Cuddington Cubs, from Stoneleigh near Epsom, would like to say a huge thank you to the entire Elstead community for making our annual camp as special as always.

We spent the week at the start of August camping at Red House Farm. Our kids had a tremendous week. Not only did they have the chance to spend a week in the countryside in a great big field (& I really can't emphasis enough just how liberating and fun that is for children...of all ages!), but they also hiked, played widegames, canoed, kayaked, cooked on open fires (although we have a dedicated cooking team who provide all the "real food" - including 3 roasts of superb locally sourced meat.), had a Scouts Own (informal service kindly run by Reverend William Lang) and a superb camp fire.

Without the support of many people around the parish, this wouldn't be possible. Our place to sleep, our wood to cook our meals, much of our food and many of our activities are provided by or facilitated through parishioner's generosity. So thank you Elstead for once again offering a very special experience. Hope to see you next year!
