Dr P Krause gave a talk on Autumn Bulbs of the Peloponnese, which was well illustrated with excellent slides.

He started by introducing us to the geography of the area he would be covering, which is in the south of Greece.  We were then shown pictures of crocuses, cyclamen, culchium's and some other flowers all with beautiful petals in colours including  white, mauve and yellow.

Dr Krause also reminded us that many plants that are described as crocuses are in fact culchium's .

He was thanked by Keith Pierce for an excellent talk, and we then finished the evening with coffee and mince pies.
