NEWS FROM ELSTEAD PARISH COUNCIL

We are pleased to welcome Mrs Anne Thomas as a co-opted Parish Councillor to fill the vacancy until the next election.

Elections for the Parish Council will take place on May 3 this year. Why not consider being an elected councillor and join the decision making team in Elstead ? A local councillor must be aged 21 or over and a British or EU citizen. You must also be an elector of the parish or during the 12 months prior to nomination have been an occupier of land as owner or tenant in the parish, or for the same period have resided in the parish or within 3 miles of it ; or for the same period have had your principal place of work in the parish. Its a good idea to attend a Parish Council to see how we work. The remaining meetings are on 19 March and 23 April. The Annual Parish Meeting is on 18 April. All our meetings are in the URC Hall Milford Rd.

If you are interested please contact Chris Newman the Parish Clerk on 01252 811624
or myself on 01252 702285.
