We had a sunny April followed by a wet May; as a consequence there has been an overpopulation of slugs. I have been experimenting with organic methods of plant protection and eradication of the slugs and snails. and have written a three page paper on the subject.  If you would like a copy please send an SAE (large) with the money to Diana Terry, Paulshott Cottage, Fulbrook Lane, Elstead, Surrey GU8 6LG. The cost of £1.50 will go towards the repair of the Thursley Common board walk of which 60% was destroyed in last years commons fire.

Our bring and buy afternoon was very successful. Thanks to Mary, Pam and Joan selling the goods, some bartering took place so nothing was left.

Peggy gave me a cutting to read. It took us back to when we had a personal service, no queuing at check points, just hand your list to the assistant not forgetting your Co-Op number. Quite amusing.

Once again a good raffle and splendid tea. Thank you.
