THE CATHOLIC CHURCH

BEING CALLED TO REVEAL THE GLORY OF GOD

'But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the  Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, through the Spirit of  the Lord' St Paul'

The Autumn Post-Alpha Programme begins on Tuesday  30th October 2007 and runs for 6 weeks in St.  John's Church Hall,  Farncombe  starting with a meal at 7.30 pm.

We have invited 6 exceptional speakers who in their chosen vocations have been inspired by a  Christian vision. In sharing  about their own calling we believe that they will inspire and encourage us. So do come and pray about others  whom you could invite to join us; such as fellow parishioners and other  Christians, new arrivals, lonely, bereaved, lapsed, non-believers, young parents  seeking answers to the questions of their young, and those of us needing to enliven our relationship with the Good Lord in listening to the speakers and  each other. Please pray for the success of this programme.

EDWARD "TEDDY" ATKINS

Linda, Clive and Phillip would like to thank all those people from the village who attended Teddy's funeral and for your kind messages of support. The floral tributes and generous donations to the church were also very much appreciated.
