Hurray!! Work had begun on the long awaited two courts. Do go down to see how the work is progressing, although at present there appears to be rather large mole hill and a trench! The coaches are desperate for these new courts as the junior section is thriving with too few courts at peak times.

ELSTEAD ROYAL BRITISH LEGION CLUB

It was a great pleasure to see so many people attending and enjoying at our firework display on Saturday 3rd November, and partaking of the refreshments.

It would be most encouraging and helpful for future years to receive a feed back as to how people enjoyed the evening and what suggestions might be included for the improvement for the evening. For example:-

  • Did you enjoy the display?
  • Was it too long or to short?
  • Were the facilities satisfactory?
  • How about the food also the bar?
  • If this was your first visit to these premises what was your impressions of the evening?
  • If you are not a member of the Elstead Branch and Club, have you considered joining?
  • If you are a member, how about a reply?

You do not have to have served in the armed forces. Membership is open to men and women who are over the age of 18 years.

Just call in any evening or week-end and say you would like to join. There are several activities you can then join, Bowls, the green is at the rear of the premises, and in the bar there are darts and a pool table or you can join the Golf section.
