To follow up from all the fund raising activities for the recovery of Thursley NNR, we would like to invite you to help with the on going re-building of the boardwalk network, of which some of the funds were spent on.

We intend to hold a work day on Sunday 28^th of September for the people of Thursley and Elstead villages.

We plan to meet at the Moat car park at 10.30 am, and finish around 3 pm.
If you are interested in helping for the day, or as long as you can spare, please phone the number below to register your interest.  Please leave a contact number and name so we can get back in touch.

On the day numbers of helpers will be limited, if we get a lot of interest we may hold 2 workdays, this is due to the nature of the task, too many people ultimately  get in each others way, as we will be working in a confined area.

All tools will be provided on the day, as will training.
Please bring some food and drink and wear suitable clothing and footwear.

Help in Elstead is a voluntary organisation, run by Elstead villagers.  We offer support in all sorts of ways to those without access to other resources. Our service is available to those living within 2 miles of the village green.

The sort of help we give is:-

• Transport for hospital and other visits
  
• Transport for shopping etc.
  
• Prescription and pension collection
  
• Sitting to relieve carers
  
• Form filling
  
• Small practical jobs such as changing light bulbs
