TRAIDCRAFT

The new Autumn catalogue is now available and includes everything you need from now until the festive season.

This latest range is both fair trade and environmentally friendly, boosting our widest range of recycled and organic products yet.

With more than 400 products to choose from, there are gift ideas for everyone, plus the usual extensive selection of quality fair trade foods, coffees, teas and wines.

Don't miss the snowflake design ceramics from Thailand, our eye-catching black foil pendant necklace made in India from recycled glass, or our extensive Christmas food selection.

You can obtain a catalogue and look at a selection of goods from it at the coffee morning on Saturday September 6th at the United Reformed Church 10 am - 12 noon.  It costs nothing to look but you might just see that unusual gift for someone special.

Remember every item bought will help someone have a better standard of life

Elstead  Cinema

The Cinema opens again after the August break with the film Chocolat (Cert 12) starring Juliette Binoche, Johnny Depp and Judy Dench on Friday 12th September at 7.30 pm in the Village Hall.  Tickets will be on sale as from 29th August from the Spar and Batchelors Newsagents.

A cross-section of people met recently to select some films for the coming months.  We hope to show Indiana Jones - the Crystal Skull on 3rd October (please note change of date to first Friday for this month only due to holidays).  November's choice is Into the Wild - a true story of a rich boy who forsakes his wealth and challenges his strengths and weaknesses in the wilds of Alaska.  Stunning  scenery.

We will be bringing you Mama Mia, Chronicles of Nania: Prince Caspian, and Wall E as soon as they become available.
