You can obtain a catalogue and look at a selection of goods from it at the coffee morning on Saturday September 6^th at the United Reformed Church 10 am - 12 noon.  It costs nothing to look but you might just see that unusual gift for someone special.

The Cinema opens again after the August break with the film Chocolat (Cert 12) starring Juliette Binoche, Johnny Depp and Judy Dench on Friday 12^th September at 7.30 pm in the Village Hall.  Tickets will be on sale as from 29^th August from the Spar and Batchelors Newsagents.

A cross-section of people met recently to select some films for the coming months.  We hope to show Indiana Jones - the Crystal Skull on 3^rd October (please note change of date to first Friday for this month only due to holidays).  November's choice is Into the Wild - a true story of a rich boy who forsakes his wealth and challenges his strengths and weaknesses in the wilds of Alaska.  Stunning  scenery.
