Help in Elstead is a caring organisation which supports in several ways those in the village who are in need of help.  The most frequent problems involve trips to the hospital or to buy items not available in the village.

Following our recent campaign we have recruited more volunteers to help with this valuable social work - but we are still short of duty officers.  This task does not involve driving, but occasionally being available to take calls from those in the village needing support and coordinating with our drivers.

Becoming involved is an excellent way of finding out more about village life and meeting new people.  There is no need to have a regular commitment.

We are always very pleased to hear from anyone who lives within 2 miles of Elstead Village Green, who needs support and does not have access to other resources.
