SPRINGFIELD SURGERY PATIENTS' GROUP *

24-HOUR BLOOD PRESSURE MONITOR

Springfield Surgery Patient Group is appealing for donations for the purchase of a new 24-hour blood pressure monitor for the use of all patients of the Springfield surgery. Those many of us who have already used the present monitor know how helpful the equipment is; but it is now approaching the end of its useful life, so a replacement is needed [cost c. £2,000].

As a result of generous donations from the village and £2,000 from the Women's Institute, the group has already been able to purchase a defibrillator; an E.C.G. machine,[ which  avoids costly hospital visits and waiting times for results] and a play table for young children awaiting appointments. There is already £600 remaining in the Equipment Fund from previous donations and we would like to use this and add to it to buy the new monitor.

If you feel able to donate - every little helps! - then please read the form below.
The final date for donations is 20th May 2009 . Do try to help if you can.
