Check in, start & finish outside St James' Church. Across Pot Common & on to the Moat [picnic stop]. Truxford, Lion's Mouth on Hankley [near ½ - way check-point] , Stockbridge Pond [near ¾ - way check-point].  From there the River Wey points towards Westbrook and back to St James'. Enjoy an afternoon walk with family and friends; spot birds & dragonflies.

Everyone will receive a route-sheet. The ½ - way check-point is at the DZ car park on Hankley Common [maybe a good end-point for groups with very young children. Run a car out there before you start!]

Stockbridge Pond, by the Golf Course, is the closest we get  to Tilford. The ¾ - way check-point is close by. Check-points will be manned, in touch by mobile  phone and have emergency  transport back to Elstead. However, please ensure, if you start the walk then decide to leave before the end, that you inform the start/finishing point, otherwise marshals might go looking for you needlessly. Take care on the short road sections.
